ClipDart Founder Kyle Parker Is a Man on a Mission

Improving mental wellness through on-site and culturally competent haircare.

When then college freshman Kyle Parker landed in rural Iowa, he found himself miles away from the barbershops of southside Chicago. He desperately needed a haircut, but couldn’t find a stylist. What he did find was his future calling.

It was Parker’s loss of access to “culturally competent” haircare that led to the creation of ClipDart, a B2B social enterprise that provides on-site haircare to those in who have restricted access to services. His nonprofit 501c3 brings the same care to those in the most historically marginalized and undeserved communities.

With 100-plus barbers and stylists, ClipDart is providing free, on-site haircare to thousands across 26 states.

Putting in 16 hour days, Parker is looking for more minded partners so his organizations can provide greater access to the mental wellness boost that comes from a haircut. Those interested in reaching out can contact Clipdart.com [email protected] and connect on LinkedIn.
